When MPUA decided to explore the possibility of a new headquarters building, they approached SOA early in the process. SOA performed an extensive programming and property development feasibility study to inform the 120+ person board of the opportunities and challenges associated with the preferred site on Maguire Blvd. in Columbia. Upon purchase of the property, SOA continued developing the design for a campus and presented design renderings, cost information, and timelines to MPUA’s committees and board so the organization could make informed decisions on how to proceed. The project is expected to reach completion by January 2022.
