Project Overview

This 6,900 sf renovation involved both the Pediatric Short Stay and Children’s Blood Disorders and Cancer Unit. As these units provide unique health services, they had individual space requirements and entries. However, some spaces were able to be merged and shared. While the clinics are outpatient, many children will remain for multiple hours receiving and recovering from treatments. Therfore, creating a welcoming, comfortable, and even entertaining environment was a primary goal.
