Missouri State Employees’ Retirement System (MOSERS) needed a change and turned to SOA to develop a design for a new 23,000 sf office building. The design features a large main floor with offices, training and board room, and a smaller, lower floor with service functions. This design allowed the building to take advantage of the site’s steep topography – lowering building costs and reducing the building’s impact on its surrounding environment. Since the structure’s completion in 1997, MOSERS turned to SOA for both an expansion feasibility study in 2007 and interior finishes renovation 2013.
